Neuropsychological Evaluation

A neuropsychological evaluation is a type of psychological evaluation that provides a detailed assessment of how brain function influences cognitive, emotional, and behavioral performance. We assess cognitive functioning across key domains to clarify how neurological and cognitive factors influence behavior and performance, offering precise recommendations for support and intervention.

This comprehensive process includes:

* Cognitive testing across attention, learning and memory, executive function, language and verbal abilities, visual spatial/perceptual skills, and emotional/behavioral regulation skill areas
*Identification of brain-behavior relationships

* Recommendations for accommodations, therapy, or skill-building

In addition to the goals of any psychological evaluation, a neuropsychological evaluation will include clarifying diagnostic questions related to neurological or developmental conditions and differentiating cognitive from emotional causes of difficulty.

Psychoeducational Evaluation

A psychoeducational evaluation provides a comprehensive assessment of learning, cognitive abilities, and academic functioning to better understand how an individual processes information and acquires skills. Our psychoeducational evaluation is designed to identify strengths and areas of difficulty that may be affecting academic performance, attention, or overall learning efficiency. By examining how cognitive abilities interact with academic skills, we develop a clear and cohesive profile of learning patterns and needs.

The process includes measuring intellectual functioning, academic achievement, and relevant cognitive processes, along with clinical interviews, behavioral observations, and developmental or educational history.

Findings from a psychoeducational evaluation support diagnostic clarification as well as educational criteria set forth by the Texas Education Agency for l
earning disabilities like dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, auditory and language processing disorders, or other specific concerns. Conditions The outcomes will guide individualized recommendations, including instructional strategies, academic interventions, and educational accommodations.

The goal is to provide meaningful insight that helps individuals, families, and educators support learning, growth, and long-term academic success.
